The 254SMO wire mesh(DIN1.4547 or UNS S31254 wire mesh) is a highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel containing high chromium and high molybdenum.
Even in harsh environments such as high temperature and sea water,254SMO maintains good corrosion resistance. In some conditions, it is comparable with hastelloy wire mesh and titanium wire mesh.It is high corrosion resistance and high economical stainless steel.
Application of stainless steel 254SMO wire mesh
1,In seawater environment : seawater desalination device, seawater heat exchanger, capacitor tube, etc.
2,In high concentration of chloride ion environment: pulp and paper industry, various bleaching devices, etc.
3,In the environment containing high concentrations of salt: resin manufacturing equipment, pharmaceutical reaction vessels and piping.
